New PCB President Named PCB is pleased to announce that effective December 2009, Terry Jackson, CAC will begin her two-year term as President of the Board of Directors of PCB. Terry has been a member of the board since 2000 and has served as Treasurer, Vice President, Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee, and Chair of the Marketing Committee. Terry Jackson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from La Salle University, and both a Master of Management and a Master of Education (training and instructional systems design) from Penn State University. At Penn State, she was presented with the overall achievement award in Management, the Greater Valley Forge Human Resources Association merit award and served as a graduate research assistant in diversity management. Terry was recently named as Director of Enrollment Services for Graduate and Adult Programs at La Salle University. She has been Director of La Salle’s part-time MBA program since 2001. Terry was recently selected to participate in the Lasallian Leadership Institute (LLI), a three year mission and leadership development program. Prior to joining La Salle’s staff in 2001, she had a successful career in the management consulting, corporate training, behavioral health and human resources industries. As account director at Ceridian, Terry provided crisis management services to 9/11 survivors in New York and advised business leaders on reconstituting their work forces. As Vice-President of North, Clawson & Bolt, Ltd., she supervised the day-to-day operations and drove new business initiatives while transitioning the company’s accounts during a successful acquisition. She also maintained her own management and training company, providing services to several Fortune 500 companies. Terry also had a 10 year career in the substance abuse and employee assistance counseling fields. She has maintained both a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) credential for almost 20 years. Terry will be filling the rather large shoes of Tom Baier, outgoing President. Tom has served as PCB President for the past 6 years. The Board of Directors and staff of PCB extend our sincere appreciation to Tom for his outstanding leadership and vision over the past several years. |
