The primary purpose of this position is to directly support the Facility Director with assisting in all facets of facility operations. This position assumes the Facility Director role in the absence of the Facility Director.
All activities must support the Firetree, Ltd. mission, strategic goals, and objectives.

Responsibilities

The position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed.

 Assists in compliance with all referral contracts.
 Monitors daily operations of the facility, or areas as designated.
 Provides oversight of assigned staff.
 Assists in personnel management in conjunction with the corporate human resources.
 Assists, in conjunction with training coordinator, in the development of staff training programs.
 Assists in the review/approve referrals.
 Develops lines of communication with staff as well as current and potential referral sources.
 Reviews the Policy and Procedure Manual on a quarterly basis and recommend changes if applicable.
 Tours the facility on a daily basis and monitor safety, sanitation, and maintenance for mandatory compliance.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

A Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling, education or a clinical specialty in the human services), public administration, business management or other related field and 2 years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting, which includes supervision of others, direct service and program planning; or a bachelor's degree – (same degrees as the Master’s degree above) and 3 years’ experience (same as above); or an Associate’s Degree – (same degrees as the bachelor’s above) and 4 years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting, which includes supervision of others, direct service and program planning.

Technical Skills

To perform this job successfully, the employee should have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must have the ability to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks.

To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily movements include sitting; standing; operating computers and other office equipment; moving about the office; and attending onsite and offsite meetings. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds.
