The primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical guidance and direction for Firetree, Ltd. as the operating Clinical Director, developing and monitoring clinical programs, and maintaining policies and procedures.
All activities must support the Firetree, Ltd. mission, strategic goals, and objectives.

Responsibilities

The position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed.

 Serves as Project Director with overall responsibility for the management of the project and clinical staff.
 Completes and submits applications for licensure and accreditation as directed by the Board of Directors in conjunction with the compliance officer.
 Researches, designs, develops, assesses and monitors the implementation of all clinical programs that operate under Firetree, Ltd.
 Monitors the clinical activities of each facility remotely and on-site on a regular basis.
 Conducts monthly supervisions with facility clinical supervisors and facilitates weekly clinical conference calls.
 Assists with the recruitment, selection and training of clinical staff.
 Assists in the development of policy and procedure in accordance with Department of Health licensing standards with compliance officer. Participates on the Policy Committee.
 Consults on a regular basis with the COO and facility Clinical Supervisors to coordinate programs and monitor compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
 Assists Corporate Compliance Officer with the compliance of all case management procedures and completion.
 Prepares status reports for the Board of Directors as requested.
 Attends quarterly clinical director meetings.
 Works with Corporate Training Director to provide appropriate training for staff and outside individuals.
 Oversees life skills programming of the facilities and coordinates meetings as needed.
 Supports marketing by preparing and giving presentations as needed.
 Provides coverage at the facilities when needed.
 Assists with programming areas of RFPs, bids and other proposals as needed by the Director of Administration.
 Assists facilities with all necessary Quality Improvement Plans as needed.
 Maintains monthly outcomes stats and communicates with governing body.
 Submits outcomes reports to jurisdictions as required.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling, education or a clinical specialty in the human services), public administration or other related field and 2 years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting, which includes supervision of others, direct service and program planning; or a Bachelor's Degree – (same degrees as the Master’s degree above) and 3 years’ experience (same as above). CAADC credentials preferred.

Technical Skills

To perform this job successfully, the employee should have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must have the ability to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks.

To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily movements include sitting; standing; operating computers and other office equipment; moving about the office; and attending onsite and offsite meetings. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds.
