Grief, Loss and Transitions

This six hour workshop is designed to consider the impact of grief, loss and transitions in our lives. These changes ask us to redefine ourselves in the world. Even when the transition results from something positive what we leave behind leaves its mark on our being. Grief and loss also have the ability to generate strong emotions like anger and regret that over time can make us unwell. Sometimes these strong emotions are triggers that unleash old behaviors. This workshop will consider our personal stories of grief, loss and transition. There will be discussions about the accompanying emotions and the opportunity to consider the benefits and even the joys of moving through these experiences. Finally, methods for promoting the discussion about grief and loss will be practiced throughout the day.
