Work/Life Balance, Professionalism and Passion: Can We Really Have it All?

This training will explore the myth, the legend and the possible reality of the elusive Unicorn…. I mean the possibility of a true work/life balance. We will explore the many hats we wear and ways to wear them effectively. Tips and strategies to develop a more effective balance between work and life will be discussed and practiced.  Boundaries and blurred lines of the many expectations we have will be identified while we look at strategies to clarify roles and keep our selves healthy.  Attendees will look at the culture of their workplace and ways to effect change to help stave off burnout in their own lives and the lives of others. Participants will come away with specific tips and develop a plan to create some best practice changes in their lives to improve their work/life balance so they can hopefully have it all.

  • Identify five tips for improved work life balance
  • Discuss three ways to change the culture of the burnt-out workplace
  • Identify ways to prevent burnout
  • Create a personal work life balance best practice plan
