The Case Management Services Clinical Supervisor is responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of case management programs including Intensive Case Management, and programs that serve priority populations as identified by the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs.

Responsibilities

Clinical:

  • Assign referrals to appropriate Case Manager or Facilitator.
  • Responsible for billing and monthly reporting.
  • Collaborate with Director of Intervention Services to complete quarterly and annual reports to funding sources, fiscal department and Board of Directors. 
  • Work to ensure staff compliance with Corporate Compliance Plan. 
  • Uphold policies and procedures for program operations.  Make recommendations for adjustments when deemed appropriate. 
  • Oversight of enrollment for clients and respond to all referrals as directed by program protocols. 
  • Ensure that Case Managers are providing appropriate support for diverse populations and for populations with specific needs such as the MOMS program.
  • Meet regularly to provide clinical supervision and support for case management programs staff.
  • Review client records and cases with caseworkers on a regular basis. Assure the accurate completion of all records, files, data entry and reports for timely submission.
  • Provide initial training and clinical orientation of MOMS, C&Y outreach, and CMSU staff.
  • Oversee program evaluation and data collection processes for case management.
  • Maintain a partial caseload for Intensive Case Management adhering to all policies and procedures for client contact and documentation.

 

Programmatic/Administrative:

  • Responsible for marketing and outreach efforts of The Council’s Case Management programs.
  • Facilitate training to staff, facilities and the community as needed to ensure compliance with policy and procedures and funding requirements.   
  • Work with Recovery Centers Coordinator to ensure proper building coverage regarding maintenance, security and technology. 
  • Assist with screening of potential staff for case management.
  • Work collaboratively with Council staff, BCDAC, Magellan, other organizations and funding sources as programs require.
  • Responsible for billing and monthly reporting.
  • Work to ensure staff compliance with Corporate Compliance Plan. 
  • Work collaboratively with other Council programs to coordinate outreach efforts.
  • Accurate collection and documentation of referrals and client updates in database.
  • Assist the Case Management Services Coordinator in stakeholder outreach and the distribution of program marketing materials.
  • Record and maintain data for monthly, quarterly and annual program reports to funding sources and the Board of Directors, as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications:  Master’s degree in Human Services or related field with 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 5 years of clinical experience, which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.  Certification as an Addictions Counselor (CADC) or in the process of obtaining a CADC.  Successful completion of Clinical Supervision Trainings within 6 months of appointment to this position. 

Must be able to work well with people, using good communication and program management skills to ensure the smooth operation and success of The Council’s case management programs.
