Primary duty of this position is to provide comprehensive substance use disorder recovery support, coordination of community resources and / or referral to community programs for patients admitted to a St. Luke’s Emergency Department. In addition, this position supports requests and assists other hospital services in accessing the network substance use disorder services.
Engage patients in the ED and/or Inpatient floors in recovery planning, including discussion on treatment options, connections to treatment related resources, and anti stigma education to Network staff.
Hold the certification of recovery specialist.
