As a Certified Recovery Specialist, you will provide non-clinical assistance and recovery support services to individuals striving to achieve or sustain long-term recovery from addiction.

Duties include, but are not limited to: serve as a positive role model to individuals and their families by sharing personal recovery experiences and develop authentic peer- to-peer relationships; support peers in identifying needs and overcoming barriers to recovery; provide and facilitate recovery supports and non-clinical counseling activities; identify and support linkages to community resources; and maintain comprehensive records.

This position will provide services at one of our Philadelphia sites and will be scheduled for 40 hours during the established patient hours - Monday through Friday. May require travel to other health centers for operational needs and accompany the peer within the local community.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED required

• Must be a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS)

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required

• Demonstrated excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with all levels of care team and other colleagues

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
