• Provide clinical support and leadership for the program and the other clinicians on the staff along with direct clinical services to assigned members.
• Collaborate directly with the Program Director, Medical Director and Lead Counselor in the leadership and advancement of the Program.

• This role will also include outreach to potential customers and admissions to Project Transition.

Responsibilities

• Weekly meeting with Program Leadership (PD, MD, and Lead Counselor) to collaborate on program and member management issues, including guiding assertive interventions in pursuit of hospital diversion and improved care.
• Provide individual and group therapy to assigned members
• Participate in multidisciplinary consultation and treatment and recovery planning with Treatment Team in Team Meetings and as needed
• Complete all required documentation in a timely fashion per our charting standards
• Participate in meetings with members and families
• Consultation with specific team members on critical issues with members
• Creative interventions with members/families and other supports
• Clinical formulation with internal and external contacts regarding our work with a member (especially to emphasize our proactive and core values driven work with a challenging member)
• Periodic training for program staff on clinical issues and perspectives that can elevate their work together.
• Provide group and individual therapy for assigned members
• Provide family therapy/family meetings as needed and approved
• Consult and confer with other providers for assigned members within PT and at other agencies as needed
• Complete all training and education required for licensure and additional mandated training for all PT Clinicians
• Keep professional license and malpractice coverage current
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The Psychologist shall be a licensed Psychologist or Intensively Trained DBT Therapist with a minimum of five years experience in individual, group, and family therapy. She or he shall also have as least two years experience with our population. DBT Training or experience preferred.
