Silvermist L.L.C. a subsidiary of Pyramid Healthcare Inc. is opening a luxury rehabilitation treatment facility in Western Pa on a private 30 acre estate and is currently interviewing for the following position part time Medical Director.
Acts as consultant and resource person for programs and for medical and psychiatric provision of care/licensure requirements. Indirectly supervise nursing functions and/or Nurse Practioner. Monitor infection control and implement necessary programs as required for the organization. Aggregate reports for key operational review and senior level management as required. Monitor outcomes based reports for the organization. Robust Continuous Improvement program and processes. Set consistent policy and adapt to program needs as appropriate for clinical, medical, physical plant, environmental requirements for licensure and high quality care as well as program efficiency. Liaison to contracted medical services providers to ensuring budgetary control, quality and efficiency.
Expert knowledge of State/Fed licensing requirements for D&A/ Mental Health programs by JCHO, DPW, BDAP, Office of Mental Health. Working knowledge of Continuous/Performance Improvement systems. Expert Knowledge of treatment milieus for D&A and Mental Health protocols. 3-5 years management experience in behavioral health care setting. 3-5 years experience with budgetary/financial process at business unit level level. Strong leadership ability, team builder, ability to drive continuous improvement projects, confidentiality, multitasker, decisive , excellent problem solving/trouble shooting skills, ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision, cooperative within the team framework.
