Full time recovery specialist position available in Monroe county, provide individuals and family members in recovery with support to help gain access to community-based resources. The recovery specialist must have a good foundation in recovery, be able to encourage individuals to connect with support systems, self-care, addiction and mental health treatment systems. Serve as a role model for recovery, help clients achieve independence and self-care.
Hours may vary, depending upon needs, no weekends.
A high school diploma, FBI and Child Abuse Clearances, completion of VIRTUS training are required. Certified as a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Specialist through the PCB, or become eligible within six months of employment.
Salary: $10 hour, 35 hours week.
