Salisbury Behavioral Health, Inc. is accepting applications for a Substance Abuse Specialist with our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Carbon/Monroe/Pike counties.
ACT is a comprehensive community-based treatment program for adults with severe and persistent mental illness or co-occurring disorders. The ACT Team provides all mental health services including: treatment, rehabilitation and crisis intervention. Services are provided in the community. Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The Substance Abuse Specialist participates with the interdisciplinary team that provides treatment and rehabilitative services to adult consumers in the community. The Substance Abuse Specialist will provide individual, couples/family and group therapy, conduct substance abuse assessments and develop treatment/rehabilitative plans. The Substance Abuse Specialist will carry out case management and other services as directed by the team leader.
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science required - Master's degree preferred
• CAC or CCDP Certification or certification eligible preferred
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Human Services related field
• Ability to pass required background clearances/screenings
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
