With over 100 locations throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware, Horizon House provides services to a diverse population on individual strength and choice.
We are currently seeking dedicated D&A Professionals with a CAC/CADC or Co-occurring Disorder Certification (CCDP/CCDPD) and a bachelor’s degree in a related behavior health discipline to fill an immediate opening within our Montgomery County Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team located in Norristown, PA. Masters preferred.

D&A Professional (FT):
• Responsible to carry out rehabilitation and support functions and assist in treatment of clients on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) multidisciplinary team; provides substance abuse services, education, support and consultation to families; and provides crisis intervention under the clinical supervision of staff with professional degrees.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Rehabilitation Counseling or Social Work required, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the fields of Mental Health/Substance Abuse.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• CAC or CADC is required, with ongoing coursework in drug and alcohol counseling to qualify for re-certification.
• Must have great communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Applicants MUST possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
