PHS is a small non-profit agency licensed by Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) as a substance abuse outpatient treatment facility, providing school/community-based prevention services and other adult services in Perry County. Executive Director/Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervision and management of all programs at PHS.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management of outpatient treatment services, serving as both project director and clinical supervisor
• Oversee/provide supervision to prevention, adult services and administrative staff
• Oversee/provide supervision for fiscal operations
• Establish policies and procedures
• Ensure that all staff meet training requirements
• Coordinate program planning, delivery of treatment services and other related activities based on philosophy, goals and objectives of the program
• Write yearly proposals for outpatient services, prevention services, United Way and adult services which includes homeless assistance and representative payee
• Occasional grant writing
• Coordinate/collaborate with substance abuse and other treatment providers, as well as collaborate with other community agencies
• Public speaking events
• Ability to work together with PHS Board of Directors

Qualifications

• Must meet DDAP’s qualifications for both Project Director and Clinical Supervisor in specified degree majors as well as have 2 years minimum clinical experience (depending on degree), with at least 1 year working directly with the chemically dependent. • Must meet state and licensing requirements
• Supervisory experience (required)
• Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) in the State of PA (preferred)
• Strong leadership, organization, management, communication and decision-making skills
