Clinic: Designated as a Pennsylvania Center of Excellence Clinic for Opioid Use Disorder.

Status: Full Time Flexible Position (40hrs/week) 28 billable hours and includes 3 evenings per week, Part-Time positions available, No on-call responsibilities, No weekend responsibilities.

General Summary: The Drug & Alcohol Therapist will be a qualified professional and will have the following qualifications and responsibilities, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

1. Conduct therapeutic, goal-directed treatment sessions with individuals on a consistent treatment schedule.
2. Facilitate Groups: groups include and are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Early Recovery, IOP, etc.
3. Complete medical record documentation on each individual at each visit. Complete and document service authorizations, treatment plan updates, case consults, case management responsibilities, and other required documentation as dictated by DDAP, SCA’s and contracted insurance providers.
4. Attendance at all mandatory and scheduled trainings, supervisions*, and staff meetings. Report to D&A Facility Director on a regular basis to insure consistency and quality of care.
5. Complete the 10 Core Trainings required by DDAP within the first year of employment. Submit yearly projected training outline to D & A Facility Director and acquire 25 hours of DDAP approved training per year. Submit copies of certificates of completion with training feedback forms directly to D&A Facility Director

Qualifications

Masters Degree from an accredited college, major in medicine, substance use disorders, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field, which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting. Professional license is preferred, such as an LPC, LCSW, or LSW. Previous experience working with the co-occurring (D&A and MH) population is strongly preferred. Applicants must pass criminal background, child abuse clearance, and FBI clearance.
