The primary function of the CRS is to help individuals gain access to needed resources in the community by assisting them in overcoming barriers and helping them bridge gaps between their needs and available resources. Types of services offered would include mentoring and connecting with the AA/NA community, securing a sponsor, gaining access to MAT, etc. This community-based process will help drug and alcohol patients in accessing long-term, non-systems resources and facilitated sustainable recovery.

Responsibilities

• Minimum experience includes a high school diploma or equivalence • Documentation of active Pennsylvania Recovery Specialist Certification • Excellent written and verbal communication • Organizational and customer service skills. • Knowledge of community resources, networking, and referral processes. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on severity of need. • Maintains effective, pro-active, and superior follow-up communication with patients, providers, office staff, and ancillary departments within CSC and community. • Attends regular meetings or conference calls, including but not limited to involving Interdisciplinary Teams and collaborating community agencies; completing all required documentation in the EMR. • Provide crisis intervention, as necessary. • Maintain individual schedule of assigned patients

Qualifications

· HS Diploma or Equivalent · Proven administrative or assistant experience · Knowledge of office management systems and procedures · Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work · Attention to detail and problem solving skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong organizational and planning skills · Proficiency in MS Office
