Acts as liaison between the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) and various medical providers in the community including primary care clinics, pain management clinics, and other specialty clinics utilizing the Hub and Spoke Model of Treatment. Responsible for networking and coordinating with primary care physicians and their patients both in Harrisburg, and surrounding rural and underserved areas of the state.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field required. One to two years of related experience required. Knowledge of group process, disease model of addiction, family systems, development stages, mental health systems and mental health regulations required. Analytical, planning and decision-making skills are necessary to effectively make accurate and rapid judgments in critical situations. Basic computer skills required.
