LPN – Opioid Treatment Program - Working under supervision of the Medical Director, is responsible for dispensing of a narcotic to patients enrolled in an outpatient substance abuse treatment program. Responsible for the accountability and dispensing of medication prescribed by the program physicians to the patient population. Also responsible for the tracking and yearly administration of physical health assessments and tuberculin skin testing of all patients in the program. Maintains various patient information records on a daily basis. Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a patient's treatment plan
Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing is required. Must have a current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Has knowledge and understanding of physical and emotional disease processes, substance use disorders, clinical nursing skills, and administration of medications. Prior experience working in a Methadone Clinic is preferred. Basic computer skills required. Per Diem position available.
