The Behavioral Health/Addiction Services Clinician/Counselor will function as a Full-time Clinician/Therapist at the outpatient facility. The position draws on a wide range of therapeutic skills/interventions with primary expertise being on the rehabilitation of outpatient drug and alcohol and mental health individuals. The Clinician will be responsible for a caseload of individuals with substance use disorders. Responsibilities will include running group and individual therapy sessions, completing appropriate paperwork/documentation and other essential functions of the job. Experience with group and individual therapy and knowledge or evidence-based practices (ex. cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, dialectical behavioral therapy, 12-step facilitation, etc). Candidate must be a self-starter and have empathy for the population but the ability to establish boundaries. Leadership qualities are a plus.
Master's degree is required; Licensed and credentialed preferred but not necessary. Valid PA driver's license and pre-employment drug testing is required. Schedule will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:45a - 4:45p and Tuesday and Thursday 11:45p - 7:45p.
