Compass Mark is a non-profit organization that provides addiction prevention and intervention services in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. These skill-building, evidence-based programs assist youth and adults to achieve healthy lifestyles.

Will develop and provide trainings and presentations on topics relating to, and including, the Student Assistance Program of Pennsylvania (SAP). This may include facilitation of SAP certification trainings as permitted and SAP maintenances in both Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. The SAP Program Coordinator will build a comprehensive menu of services that support SAP and its stakeholders. The SAP Program Coordinator identifies ways in which best practices from the discipline of prevention can be integrated within schools and communities.


• Design and deliver trainings, presentations, or speaking engagements that support current trends, needs and barriers of students in grades K-12.
• Design and maintain materials that support the facilitation of presentations and trainings.
• Develop partnerships with both public and non-public schools in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
• Regularly assess and obtain working knowledge of school-based prevention programs, educational mandates and state initiatives, and provide corresponding technical assistance on these topics to schools and community members.
• Provide resources and support to schools surrounding implementation or evaluation of their individual SAP team process.
• Proactively build relationships with school administrators and teachers to integrate Compass Mark’s prevention services and best practice knowledge into K-12 schools in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
• Attend SAP related meetings as required in both Lancaster and Lebanon County.
• Maintain continued education and training to remain current across topic areas related to ATOD use, youth and adolescent issues, adult education


Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work or related field

• Minimum of five years of experience providing training on standards-based programs, and three years of experience working within the Student Assistance Program system is required, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
