Primary Function: To provide direct counseling and education services to a caseload of up to 35 clients
Conducting Group, Individual, and family sessions
Works with clients to develop treatment plans
Assesses and evaluates clients progress as outlined by treatment plans
Confers with appropriate agencies regarding progress and treatment
Completes assessments
Utilizes social agencies and resources required
Follows appropriate protocols regarding client funding
Utilizes direct supervisor for assistance
Full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body, which is a member of a national certification body.
A bachelor’s degree and at least one year experience and an associates degree with at least two years of experience.
