We are committed to providing a caring, treatment environment incorporating the latest in evidence-based treatment methodologies for dual-diagnosed clients. Our treatment team has a proven track record in helping clients to reclaim and enrich their lives.
Although certification is preferred, we are willing to meet with individuals who have the appropriate amount of needed D&A hours of experience and D&A education to take CADC or CAADC test and can become licensed/certified within 90 days of hire. (Verification of hours must be provided before offer of employment).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Effectively manages designated caseload of clients in individual, family and group therapy sessions
• Participates actively in utilization management functions to ensure appropriate authorizations for care; is well-versed in admission, concurrent and discharge criteria as outlined by ASAM
• Participates actively in regularly scheduled staff meetings, team meetings, ongoing education and training and case conferences
• Participates in weekly individual and group supervision
• Facilitates group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, process groups, psychoeducational groups, lectures and workshops
• Has working knowledge and experience in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and 12 Step Approaches to treatment and care
• Other functions as assigned

Qualifications

Required education:
• Bachelor's
Required experience:
• Drug & Alcohol Counseling/ Therapist: 1 year
• Working in Inpatient, Residential or Partial-Hospitalization Level of Care: 1 year
Required license or certification:
• Experience in Drug & Alcohol Counseling
