In this role you will be responsible for:
• Under the supervision of the Clinic Coordinator providing support/wellness recovery services to peers (consumers of mental health services and their family members/caregivers) in the Outpatient Center
• Using personal recovery experiences to facilitate patients' engagement in recovery
• Contributing to the training and supervision of volunteers as requested by the department director or designee
• This position requires providing service to the adult age population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served
If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience as a consumer of services for a serious mental illness required
• Maintained a job or volunteer position for at least 12 months within the past three years or have earned 24 post-secondary education credits required
• Certification as a Peer Specialist in the state of Pennsylvania required
• Certification as a WRAP Facilitator required
