ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Outpatient Therapists for our South 9th Street facility to provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults with severe mental health and addiction disorders. We’re looking for confident clinicians accustomed to evaluating, planning, and providing compassionate services, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, dual recovery, and partial hospitalization programs; plus all related documentation and case management work. The Adult Outpatient Therapist will provide individual and group psychotherapy to Adults within the SMI Team (Severe Mental Illness).

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

Duties include documentation of sessions using evidence based practices, documentation related case management functions, attending regular staff meetings, treatment planning, etc.
The therapist participates in Team meetings including collaboration with psychiatric and other organization staff.
The Therapist is responsible for maintaining the clinical documentation according to Federal, State, County and Organizational polices and procedures.
Although this position will be mainly out of the South 9th Street location, Local travel will be necessary as meetings alternate from site-to-site.
Therapists will provide individual and group counseling as assigned.
Master’s degree in human service or a related mental health field and 1 year of experience.
SCHEDULE

The site is open from 9:00AM through 8:00PM Monday through Thursday and 9:00AM through 5:00PM Friday. Work Schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00AM through 5:00PM with possible evenings and flexibility to meet the needs of the program.
