Our Outpatient Therapists for our Substance Use Disorder Team at our South 9th Street and East Commons locations provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults with mental health and addiction disorders. We are seeking an Adult Outpatient Dual Diagnosed Therapist to work in both locations. We’re looking for confident clinicians accustomed to evaluating, planning, and providing compassionate services, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, dual recovery, and partial hospitalization programs; plus all related documentation and case management work.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

Provide psychotherapy services to individuals and groups utilizing individual and group therapy modalities based on consumer’s clinical need and choice.
Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles, practices, and procedures involved in a cross-disciplinary program for consumers.
Manage consumer urgent and emergency needs, and provide follow-up as appropriate.
Educate consumers and their families regarding mental health/alcohol and other drug issues and medications.
Complete assessments for consumers using ASAM criteria and formulate individualized service plans with the consumer.
Assess, develop, implement, evaluate, and revise treatment as needed based on consumer need and response to treatment.
Establish discharge planning at the onset of treatment services according to organization established discharge criteria.
Complete clinical documentation in compliance with Federal, State, County, and Organizational policies and procedures.
PA driver’s license with access to a vehicle and Act 33, 34 and FBI clearances.
Master’s Degree in Human Services and two years of practical experience in a behavioral health setting. Providing Substance Use Disorder treatment is preferred.
Completion of Pennsylvania DDAP required training including ASAM is preferred.
SCHEDULE

37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday, which could include day and evening hours Monday through Thursday.
