What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Certifications: Current BCBA Certification and LBS. (Can consider candidate who has begun the LBS process for the District based opportunity)
Skills: Strong interpersonal and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively within a treatment team.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with children on the Autism spectrum.
Expertise: Conduct functional Behavioral Assessments, create programs and Behavior Intervention plans.
Assessments: Complete skill assessments such as ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and AFLS.
Training: Train and supervise school staff, Behavior Technicians (BTs), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Engagement: Provide parent training to facilitate a collaborative approach to support children.

Responsibilities

*Clinical Responsibilities

FBA/PBSP
- Conducts initial and ongoing functional behavior assessments every 6 months or
as clinically indicated
- Develops/updates individualized and evidence-based behavior intervention plans
based on assessment results every 6 months or as clinically indicated
- Creates behavior datasheets that match behavior intervention plans in target name,
operational definition, and measurement
- Submits draft FBAs and behavior plans to their supervisor at least one week
before their due date
IEPs
- Conducts baseline data and/or assessments to draft IEP or insurance treatment
plan goals
- Submits draft IEPs to their supervisor at least one week before their due date
Insurance Authorizations
- Completes assessments and required documents for initial insurance
authorizations within the allotted assessment time
- Submits draft initial authorizations to supervisor at least 1 week before the
assessment period ends
- Submits draft insurance treatment plans and re-authorizations to supervisor at
least 3 weeks before their authorization period expires

*Case Management Responsibilities

- Maintains a caseload of up to 28-30 billable hours/week
- Collects, monitors, and analyzes data to ensure data-driven decisions and program
modifications are made on an ongoing basis
- Reviews session notes from BTs/RBTs on an ongoing basis
- Completes progress reports for his/her caseload as needed and submits reports to
supervisor one week before their due date
- Ensures programming for his/her caseload is created in CentralReach
- Creates and maintains program materials

*Team Responsibilities

- Ensures relevant team members, including BTs/RBTs, teachers, related service therapists,
and parents/guardians, are trained on student-specific programming and data collection
- Responds to questions/concerns from team members and families in a timely manner
(including issues that arise after business hours)

*Supervisory Responsibilities

- Provides clinical supervision to BTs/RBTs on their teams in line with minimum state and
BACB requirements
- Ensures clinical supervision is accurately documented
- Completes feedback tools on BTs/RBTs on a monthly basis to ensure consistent and
accurate implementation of academic and clinical programming
- Reviews feedback tools with BTs/RBTs in a timely manner and ensures signatures are
collected at the time of the review
- Provides BTs/RBTs with prompt and supportive feedback/retraining regarding all
observations in a timely manner

*Supporting Responsibilities

− Meets required indirect hours each month
− Creates schedule on Central Reach one week prior to service delivery
− Completes all required paperwork for direct services
− Converts appointments to his/her timesheet on Central Reach as soon as possible after the
appointment
− Submits required paperwork for billing
− Meets with direct supervisor on a regular, pre-determined schedule that meets minimum
state licensing requirements
− Attends and participates in scheduled BCBA meetings, clinical reviews, and all staff
meetings
− Completes all training hours assigned by Supervisor
− Ensures appropriate documentation is submitted for any approved, external trainings that
he/she completes
− Provides on and off-site trainings as needed
− Maintains BCBA certification and state license, if applicable
− Maintains CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certifications
− Follows policies, procedures, and standards of professionalism as outlined in company
handbook
− Completes all other duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Mental
Health Counseling, or related field
• Experience developing and implementing ABA programs for children and adolescents in
home, school, and clinic settings preferred
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification
• 0-2 years post-certification experience developing and implementing ABA programs for
children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings
• Participation in First Children Services Mentoring Program for 6-12 months
• Appropriately licensed in the state of practice
• Clearances (current within 90 days)
o PA or NJ Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
o PA or NJ Criminal Clearance (Act 34)
o PA or NJ Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
o PA or NJ Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168) – to be
completed for each employer where the candidate worked with children
• Completed Mandated Reporter Training (Act 31)
• Completed Arrest and Conviction Report (Act 82)
• Completed Tuberculosis (TB) screening
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation
• Must be at least 21 years old
