The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) - peer role types including peer recovery support specialists (substance use and/or mental health training); forensic peer specialists; family peer support specialists - will work in partnership with all individuals who may benefit from peer support services. The PSS will deliver services in line with their training and based on the needs of the individuals engaged in their assigned program.

General Summary

Contributes in a peer support capacity to facilitate recovery and enhance wellness by sharing his/her personal/practical experience and first-hand knowledge to the team and clients. Provides expertise about the recovery process, symptom management, and the persistence required by patients to have a satisfying life. Serves as a role model for recovery for both staff and peers and partners with peers in developing recovery tools and building support networks.

The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing clinical services and interventions that support overall health and wellbeing. They offer opportunities for clients to gain knowledge and skills to promote individual growth and sustained recovery from addiction within the framework of BriteLife Recovery’s philosophy and objectives. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Primary Therapist will provide addiction treatment services including, but not limited to assessments and individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients and their families.

Intensive Case Manager (ICM)

Salary - $45,000 (plus over time pay) and incentive program

The Community Navigator will be responsible for the facilitation of peer-led interventions being tested by the Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion. This is a full-time position.

The Bucks County Justice Center Assessor/Case Manager will provide case management services to adult and youthful offenders, to include Act 53 cases (involuntary commitment of adolescents by the judicial system). The position is located at the Bucks County Justice Center as well as at the Bucks County Administration Building, both of which are in Doylestown, PA. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required.

Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc. is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Program Specialist to provide oversight for the BCDAC, Inc. Warm Handoff program and to serve as liaison with provider agencies and hospitals, healthcare facilities and community agencies. The Drug and Alcohol Program Specialist is also responsible for establishing program benchmarks and measuring program impact.

The Community Recovery Specialist (CRS) will provide support to Participants in the intensive outpatient and outpatient programs. They will provide 1:1 peer counseling during treatment and aftercare support for one year following completion of the program. The recovery specialist is responsible (along with other team members) for establishing a therapeutic milieu that promotes the engagement of the Participants in the treatment process. The specialist is responsible for observing Participants' behavior and documenting observations.

The Certified Peer Specialist will provide services that are self-directed and person-centered with a recovery focus. They will facilitate the development of recovery skills. Services are multi-faceted and include, but are not limited to, individual advocacy, education, development of natural supports, support of work or meaningful activity of the individual choosing, crisis management support, skills training, effective utilization of the service delivery system, and coordination of and linkage to other service providers.

The Peer Support Specialist uses their own unique, life-altering experience in order to guide and support others who are in some form of mental health recovery. Peer Support Specialist works in conjunction with highly trained and educated professionals. They fill a gap by providing support from the perspective of someone who has first-hand experience, something that professionals cannot learn from training or education.

This full-time remote position supporting Lancaster General Health (LGH) is for a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) who will be a core member of a collaborative care team. The team includes the patient's primary care provider, a therapist, and a psychiatrist who consults to the team remotely.

The Case Manager of the Housing Department will provide case management services to individuals and families with a drug, alcohol and/or mental health disability residing in Berks Counseling Center’s various housing programs. This may involve transitional, permanent supportive, or mental health jail diversion.
