Pyramid Healthcare's Recovery Support Services Division is seeking Certified Recovery Specialists. Certified Recovery Specialists' role is to support others in recovery from substance use disorder. The Recovery Specialist will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. This member of the ACT multidisciplinary team has the responsibility to carry out treatment, rehabilitation and support functions, education, and provide crisis intervention to participants and support and consultation to families. Provide service coordination (case management) for an assigned group of participants including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual treatment team.

The Certified Recovery Specialist provides on-going recovery support/coaching to high-risk patients struggling with substance use disorders. The Certified Recovery Specialist assists patients with developing their own system of natural supports. The key to the Certified Recovery Specialist’s work is forming healthy growth-producing relationships by sharing their lived experience with addiction and success in overcoming barriers and engaging and motivating patients to responsible action. This position requires nontraditional hours to meet client’s needs.

Are you looking to make a positive difference in people’s lives? RHD is seeking Certified Recovery Specialist! This is an exciting opportunity to join a community-based case management/outreach team located on Main Street in Norristown that was developed in compliance with the Governor’s Initiative for the Center of Excellence to address the opiate epidemic facing our communities.

Compensation is $17.38 per Hour with a $3,000 sign on bonus; $1,500 upon successful completion of 90 days, and $1,500 upon successful completion of 180 days, plus FREE parking.

The Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) supplies essential support to active program participants. Working in collaboration with adjunct providers and external agencies, CRS staff work individually with participants to complete screening activities, input relevant screening data to recovery data platform, support and inform the development of comprehensive Recovery Service Plans, manage a caseload of active program participants and provide ongoing recovery navigation and support services.

This position is responsible for providing case management services to drug and/or alcohol eligible clients so that a more satisfactory social, economic, emotional or physical living condition can be achieved and a drug/alcohol free lifestyle can be maintained. This may include providing case management services to specialized populations, including those involved in the Chester County Treatment Court.
