Summary: The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) - peer role types including peer recovery support specialists (substance use and/or mental health training); forensic peer specialists; family peer support specialists - will work in partnership with all individuals who may benefit from peer support services. The PSS will deliver services in line with their training and based on the needs of the individuals engaged in their assigned program.

OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking additions to our team of Certified Recovery Specialists to support Treatment Court participants living at the Specialty Court Recovery Housing program at the Reading YMCA. The ideal candidates have prior experience working with persons with substance use disorders and know how to help individuals create and follow recovery plans. We need help on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including on weekends and holidays, with additional weekday shifts available at times. Pay differential included!
