Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23,827.00 to $24,542.00 /year

The qualified candidate will provide support services to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders by assisting in overcoming barriers, gain access to community resources, developing self-identified personal goals for recovery and promoting self-sufficiency. Advocacy for individual and family needs with professionals within the community, problems solving, role modeling and coaching are essential to this position.  Knowledge of the purpose, goals and objectives of the recovery process, the drug and alcohol service delivery system, and excellent communication skills are required. This full-time position will be community based and will often require working evenings and weekends.  Candidates are required to have obtained full certification as a drug and alcohol recovery support specialist.
