MARS is a growing outpatient substance use treatment agency in the Lehigh Valley. MARS is looking to hire a full-time Certified Recovery Specialist to be part of an opportunity to be included in expanding current programming and growing new programs. The program is designed to assist in outreach in the community by providing services to those with substance use concerns. Must have a driver's license and current CRS credential through the Pennsylvania Certification Board.
- Provide recovery education throughout the recovery process to families, recovering individuals, and the community.
-Work as part of the treatment team to address client needs.
-Promote and develop skills in recovering individuals to self-advocate.
-Develops ongoing relationships with community services necessary to support recovery.
-Determines appropriate length of stay in CRS services and facilitates discharge process in an appropriate manner.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
Recovery Specialist Certification (Required)
