Legends Recovery Center of Pittsburgh is a newly DDAP licensed program offering partial and intensive outpatient treatment. Legends started as an Ohio substance use treatment center that provides accessible and affordable treatment programs at multiple levels for a variety of needs and circumstances.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

-Utilize the DDAP ASAM diagnostic criteria to determine the appropriate level of care.

-Work within a client-centered team framework to insure that clients are connected to services of choice; with emphasis on individualism, strengths and community involvement.

-Manage caseload of clients providing individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy sessions.

-Provide and oversee the provision of accurate, strength-based, and culturally competent assessments of clients within prescribed timeframes and throughout the client’s service involvement.

-Provide supportive and follow up services as needed.

-Work collaboratively with other team members, supervisor, director and medical personnel, including presenting cases.

-Provide and responsible for timely, accurate, and professionally written documentation of all service components as per licensing regulations, contractual requirements and agency policies.

-With supervision, take responsibility for own learning and professional development including required 25 hours of training per all licensing regulations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

-A Master’s degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Education, Counseling or Social Work with 3+ years experience in substance use services. (Preferred LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor)

-Knowledge of the following areas is preferred; DSM-V, substance use, mental health, co-occurring, motivational interviewing.

-Ability to main confidential information within HIPAA, regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
