Brighter Visions has been contracted by the Juniata Valley Tricounty DA Abuse Commission, and CCBH to provide CRS services in Mifflin and Juniata Counties for one year. We are looking for someone to step into an existing caseload and sustain this beneficial program.
A CRS provides peer-based recovery and wellness support to adults navigating substance use and life transitions assisting those with co-occuring mental health, justice involvement, housing problems, and adjustment to sober daily living
The CRS will use their lived experience, recovery training, and peer support principles to walk alongside individuals in identifying goals, reducing barriers, building natural supports, and strengthening long-term wellness. Services are non-clinical, strengths-based, and rooted in hope, dignity, and self-determination.
Certification as a CRS, a helping personality, a solid foundation in recovery from addiction.
