The Case Manager/Recovery Housing Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with referral agencies to coordinate admissions within a network of recovery houses in various locations for clients with a diagnosis of a substance use disorder or co-occurring substance use/mental health disorder. Additionally, this position will be the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Inc. (BCDAC, Inc.) liaison for the Bucks County Recovery Residence Oversight Committee (BC-ROC).
This position reports directly to the BCDAC, Inc. Approval of Care Clinical Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain policies/procedures for accessing funds and develop new policies/procedures, as needed
• Develop and maintain a recovery housing tracking report and database
• Develop trainings for recovery house owners and managers including, on various policies and procedures, including but not limited to, drug testing, employment opportunities, invoicing and reporting requirements
• Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data for outcomes research and working with a designated consultant to identify expected outcomes and related measures and contribute to a report.
• Interface with designated recovery home owners and managers to identify housing availability
• Review applications and ensure applicants meet eligibility requirements
• Follow up with clients regarding housing application submittals
• Notify recipients of the subsidy/contingency allowance
• Provide monthly census reports to Management
• Connect clients to community resources
• Regularly visit recovery houses in the community to ensure compliance with program standards
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and BCDAC, Inc. Board of Directors
• Serve as the BCDAC, Inc. liaison for the Bucks County Recovery Residence Oversight Committee (BC-ROC)
• Receive and track complaints filed and coordinate review by the Bucks County Recovery Residence Oversight Committee (BC-ROC)
• Review and approve/deny all BC-ROC funding invoices.
• Serve as a member of Bucks County Reentry Coalition Housing Subcommittee.
• Responsible for the expansion of BC-ROC Recovery House Network and SOR Housing Network through evaluation of application materials, house-specific policies and procedures, and site inspections.
• Monitoring/updating BCDAC staff and county recovery house operators on DDAP Regulations for Recovery House Licensure.
• Guiding and assisting Bucks County recovery houses in obtaining DDAP Licensure.
• Arrange for on-going Narcan distribution and replacements of Narcan to Bucks County Recovery Houses.
• Assist individuals not eligible for BCDAC funding assistance in connecting with other potential funding resources.
• Attend and report on meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. as necessary and/or as required or directed by BCDAC, Inc
• Expand of network of BCDAC, Inc. contracted recovery houses.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field.
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use challenges
• Observes all rules of confidentiality as they relate to client information both internally and in dealing with outside individuals and/or agencies
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Excellent decision-making ability
• Ability to maintain appropriate professional and personal boundaries
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with insurance coverage
