Resources for Human Development's CORE program is hiring for a full-time Therapist in Allegheny County.

Snapshot of Therapist position:
Annual salary of $52,140; $55,530,with license.
Master's degree with license (preferred), working toward licensure also considered.
Sign on bonus of $2,500 available, distributed in two parts.
Flexible schedule.
Program located in Homestead near the Waterfront.

The Therapist will provide support and intensive treatment to men in a long-term residential facility who are dealing with mental health and drug and alcohol issues.

Responsibilities

Therapy:
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments including recommendations for treatment
Provide individual, group, and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues. 

Caseload management:
Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet CCBHC and agency guidelines
Discharge individuals according to agency guidelines.

Administrative:
Enter documentation into electronic medical record in accordance with agency guidelines. 

Qualifications

One year therapist experience in a drug and alcohol setting preferred.
Masters degree in human services preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field w credentials (LPC, LSW, LCSW, CADC, CAAC) MAY be considered.
License preferred, if working toward license considered.
ACT 33/34 clearances
FBI clearance, as needed
All trainings required by licensure
