JEVS Human Services is one of the largest human services agencies of its kind. These programs are designed to help individuals overcome quality of life challenges and also those who are facing socio-economic conditions such as the underemployed and the unemployed.

We are seeking a Drug & Alcohol Clinical Supervisor for our Achievement through Counseling and Treatment (ACT) program which offers personal solutions and supports to adults committed to overcoming addiction and living clean and sober lives. ACT's counselors, therapists, nurses, and support staff serve over 600 patients each week at two locations in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:
• Interview applicants for clinical staff by utilizing the counseling competency assessment, writing samples inclusive of bio psychosocial Assessment, Recovery Plan progress note technology assessment.
• Train new Clinical staff in ACT procedures using the clinical staff training checklist.
• Review with staff the expectation and credentialing requirements to obtain a clinical credential.
• Monitor probationary performance of Clinical Staff.
• Monitor newly hired clinical staff’s documentation and their facilitation of groups through direct observation.
• Monitor time management and productivity of hired Clinical Staff using the reports available through our EMR.
• Provide and document supervisory support to employees a minimum of 1 time per week on a continual basis to monitor compliance and performance targets.
• Monitor case loads, discharges and admissions to insure all regulatory agency based expectations are met.
• Review clinical documentation including: Treatment plans, Progress notes, Case notes, bio-psychosocial reviews and PCPC to insure all regulatory and agency based expectations are met.
• Review tracking sheet to insure that all time driven clinical documentation expectations are being met.
• Demonstrates knowledge of internal/JEVS/ACT Code of Professional Behavior.

Qualifications

Must meet at least one of the following groups of qualifications:
• Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field and 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent. This credential is preferred at ACT
OR
• (2) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent person. Accepted a related; Art therapy, dance therapy, human development, special education, sociology, counselor education, human behavior, individual and family studies, pastoral studies, music therapy.
