Per Diem Buprenorphine coordinator / counselor assistant position available in the Stroudsburg Office. Duties include but are not limited to: set up MAT Clinic and assist prescribing physician with clinic functioning to include transcripts of sessions, reconciliation of medication, scheduling of clients, and obtaining authorization for medication renewal and providing medication vouchers where needed; performance of routine oral and swab drug screens; contact with various labs for testing; awareness of the fundamentals of drug and alcohol treatment and the ability to provide accurate observations and assessments of clients’ behaviors; organized, self-motivated, and a commitment to working with this population as work is expected to be performed in an independent, timely, and efficient manner; review of client charts and attendance, as well as sitting-in on group / individual sessions as needed; providing case management services for referrals to other MAT providers, mental health, and medical services as needed; communication with other clinical staff information necessary for assessing the client’s adherence to their programs and sharing these impressions with other staff / MAT provider. The individual will receive supervision and is expected to be trained in screening and evaluations. This position will report to the Clinical Supervisor, and will meet the Clinical Supervisor weekly to address issues of client caseload, treatment issues, and to obtain direction; this position is also expected to attend weekly staff meetings.
