This position directly supervises: CRS Assistant Advisors and covers CRS supervisions as needed. This position helps supervise all CRS staff at the directive of the Program Director. This is a supervisory position responsible for the supervision and development of the Certified Recovery Specialist program.
• Must have been in substance abuse Recovery for at least 2 years
Then;
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical dependency, mental health or related field
• At least five years’ experience in mental health or drug/alcohol services
• Knowledge of staffing processes, Knowledge of CRS regulation, Knowledge of QA processes, Personal experience and knowledge of recovery model, Be able to advise and supervise others, Must meet requirements to attend /complete/pass the Recovery Specialist Supervisor Certification, Must be able to work independently and as a team player, Must be able to adapt hours to needs of position, Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, Must have access to transportation, telephone and internet, Must be able to identify with the agency Mission and support the agencies Philosophy
Must obtain the following Clearances:
• PA Criminal Record (State Police), Child Abuse History Check, FBI Clearance, Mandated Reporting Certificate
Physical Abilities:
• Ability to reach over head.
• Lift and carry objects over thirty (30) pounds.
• Bend to reach objects from the floor.
• Stand for extended period of time with reasonable breaks.
• Operate office machines.
• Sit for extended period of time with reasonable breaks.
• Vision and hearing within normal limits
