Programs: BHRS, MHOP, SAOP or D&A OP, Drug & Alcohol Treatment.
Role Description: In this role the Outpatient Therapist will conduct individual, group and family therapy, as clinically appropriate, with outpatient clients.
Minimum Education Required: Master’s degree in a clinical discipline for mental health therapists or Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health discipline for substance abuse therapists. Degrees in a related discipline will be considered. All degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
Minimum Experience required: One year of experience in the behavioral health field for mental health therapists and Two years’ experience working with clients with addictions for substance abuse therapists. Must have documented clinical experience working in the field of substance abuse treatment.
Certifications Required: Licensed or certification preferred (LPC, LCSW, PsyD), some positions required. Co-occurring professional certification strongly encouraged.
Clearances Required: Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and Fingerprint based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.
