Working under supervision of the Medical Director, is responsible for dispensing of a narcotic to patients enrolled in an outpatient substance abuse treatment program. Responsible for the accountability and dispensing of medication prescribed by the program physicians to the patient population. Also responsible for the tracking and yearly administration of physical health assessments and tuberculin skin testing of all patients in the program. Maintains various patient information records on a daily basis. Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a patient’s treatment plan. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. Must have a current RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Two (2) years of experience in the field of addictions preferred. Direct experience working with Methadone is desired, but not necessary. Basic computer skills required.
