Peercovery® www.peercovery.com) is an innovative new peer support franchise agency outside of the traditional MA model seeking experienced and certified Peer Specialists to join our new and growing team.
We are looking for team members with a passion for supporting others in the Philadelphia Region (Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Buck, and Philadelphia Counties). This position is community-based and provides the opportunity for input and growth at all levels of employment.
Pay Rate: $20/hr
• Minimum of a High School or GED Diploma; Associates Degree or higher in a Human Services related field is preferred
• Current & active Certification in PA as a Certified Peer Specialist
• Within the last three (3) years, have either maintained at least 12 months of successful work or volunteer experience or earned at least 24 credit hours at a college or post-secondary educational institution.
• Valid driver's license and have access to an insured, registered vehicle to use for work on a daily basis
• Knowledge of the local Mental Health and Addiction Systems
• Passion for mental health and addiction recovery, integrity, ability to work independently and problem solve
• Access to a secure computer and basic computer skills; ability to learn and use new computer systems and/or software functions as they become available.
