We are currently seeking a Full Time Recovery Specialist to work in Fulton County.
The goal of this position is to serve as a liaison between individuals with a substance use disorder, their families, treatment providers, and community supports using strategies that are supportive and to help the individual engage in the recovery and treatment process.

The individual in this position will provide the “lived experience” perspective as someone in recovery. They will provide hope, encouragement, and motivation to embrace and engage in services and all phases of recovery - outreach prior to treatment, support during treatment, and follow-up after completion of treatment. Collaboration of systems and services and well as ongoing engagement in treatment is an important factor for increasing positive outcomes for individuals who are in treatment for opioid addiction.

This is a unique opportunity with potential to grow with the program and the employer will assist with gaining certification to become a Certified Recovery Specialist.
